Most famous for his many victories over Outremer, Salah al-Din (commonly known as Saladin) was the founder of the Ayyubid dynasty. He was the first sultan of both Egypt and Syria.
Rising to prominence in the second crusade, he was an important figure of the Third Crusade, spearheading the Muslim military effort against the Crusader states in the Levant. While he had undoubted experience as a military leader Salah al-Din's greatest gift was as a strategist.

Pack contains one foot figure & 25mm round base. Made from white metal, supplied unpainted and may need some assembly.
