The Irish often used mounted warriors in their forces, and while not a major tactical arm during a pitched battle, they were probably used as flank guards, skirmishers or as a possible tactical reserve. Their real value would have been as raiders where their high mobility would have been most useful, whether against an enemy village or a baggage train. It's probably assumed that a horse would have been a valuable item and therefore only warriors of status, along with noblemen would have been able to afford such asset.

Pack contains 4 different Irish Noble cavalry riders and 4 ponies.
Miniatures supplied unpainted and may need some assembly. Weapons and bases supplied.
