New Romans!

'Ave', My friends,

It is a good week for all things Roman.

We have stock of SAGA: Age of Caesars, and it is a lovely book.

Front cover of the game supplement 'Saga: Age of Caesars' featuring a dark wood-textured background, an illustration of ancient Roman soldiers with red and gold shields in the center, and the title 'SAGA' in large metallic lettering at the top.

It coincides nicely with the new 'Imperial Roman' range sculpted by the very talented Adam Smith, under his own A.D. Miniatures banner.
The detail is superb, and the collection is going to have a huge variety of units added over the coming year (my Saga warband will be built around his range).

Adam has been working away on a large and comprehensive range of 3rd-century legionaries, which includes some lovely command groups and war machines. For those of you who don't know Adam's work, his figures are a great fit with modern plastics from ranges like Victrix and Wargames Atlantic.

WGA have also released two new box sets: Late Roman Legionaries in Lorica Squamata (24 models in scale mail), which will be a nice complement to the earlier set in mail.

A group of painted tabletop wargaming miniature soldiers in medieval armor standing in a grassy mountain landscape. The figures include shields, swords, spears, and a yellow banner.

and Dark Ages Unarmoured Cavalry (which I think is going to be a very useful set of 12 figures, especially when combined with the builder box set released earlier this year).

Three painted wargaming miniature riders on horseback, with helmets, shields, swords, and a banner, set in a grassy tabletop terrain with a blurred outdoor-style background. A Wargames Atlantic logo appears in the lower left corner.

Gangs Of Rome - Germania

And that's not all! To add to your Roman selection, there are some very new warriors heading this way from Paul Hicks for a new campaign, masterminded by our own Darren Evans. The legions are marching into the forests, with a set of new scenarios, It Ain't Half going to be fun in the forts this summer...

If you can't wait, then check out our last campaign in Herculaneum...

I think you will agree we have lots of great stuff for you - perfect for summer painting projects when the days are long and the light is good....
