The Laurel

A large space in a converted warehouse, this dubious establishment is a smoke-infused and Stygian drinking den. It sports dice tables and other ‘entertainments’ designed to relieve gamblers of whatever coins they have left following a day at the races. It is notorious for disagreements between fans of the greens and the whites. No one is stopped at the door, but those who can’t pay their debts are dealt with very harshly.

It is rumoured that one of the region’s two Curators may or may not be linked to the Laurel, as the vigiles seem to keep a wide birth of this establishment.
